UK Erasmus Graduate mobility visa route
In this webinar, guest speaker Petrina White (ESPA - European Student Placement Agency Ltd) talked about internship offers in the United Kingdom while studying and how ESPA manages the intern process in terms of selection, interview, recruitment, etc.
ESPA has been creating fantastic internships in the UK, for international students, for over 12 years. The landscape has changed in the past 5 years, with the ramifications of BREXIT and leaving the Erasmus+ scheme and the purpose of the webinar was to let attendees know how students can come to the UK for an internship, with the Temporary Worker Government Authorised Exchange Certificate of Sponsorship (TWGAE CoS) and a visa.
Ms. White also briefly touched upon IAESTE UK - previously run by the British Council - which was relaunched last year. IAESTE is the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) and is a global non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing technical education through international exchange programmes founded in 1948. It serves 20 000 students, 3000 employers and 1000 academic institutions through career-focused international placement programmes, social and intercultural events, international networking and other career and employer branding activities in more than 100 countries worldwide.
