According to our most recent data from 2023-2024, there are more than 1400 students from India enrolled in Flemish higher education and this number is going up every year. 9 of our HEI have signed educational cooperation agreements at institutional, faculty or department level, with a total number of 81 agreements.

Several representatives of Flemish higher education institutions (HEI) are taking part in APAIE 2025 (24-28/03/2025) in Delhi. Others will join the Belgian Economic Mission to India, from 1 to 8 March 2025 in New Delhi and Mumbai to visit partners and to explore new ones. Given the upcoming events in India, we organise an online information session in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Belgiam, introducing the Indian Higher Education System, research and innovation, and much more.
